Best Places to live in Arizona: Amazing Gila County Grand Experience Properties LLC

Gila county is close to Maricopa county and is a popular destination for those who live in the Phoenix valley. You can drive an hour from Scottsdale and be in a totally different climate, and drive another 20 minutes or so and be in another climate. This is why this is one of my favorite counties. (I have several favorite counties though and most of them offer temperatures that are below 100 in the summer and have lakes and creeks.) This county has Native American ruins, places for prospecting, working mines for employment, Roosevelt Lake for fishing, TONS of beautiful hiking trails, mountain views.

Payson and Globe have hospitals for employment and Globe and Miami have mines. Eastern Arizona College is in Globe and Gila Community College is in Payson and there are casinos near Globe and Payson.

Payson sits at the base of the magnificent Mogollon Rim (pronounced mogyon). Weather is usually in the low 90's in the summer. It gets some winter storms but only about 6 inches of snow falls at a time usually and an average of 13 days of snowfall. It's centrally located for being close to the Phoenix valley while also not being too far away from ski resorts.

There are plenty of golf courses to choose from. On my youtube channel I have a video of a 5 foot waterfall on Tonto Creek east of Payson. You can live on or close to a creek or river. You can visit the Tonto Natural Bridge area. Miami and Globe areas have lots of beautiful hikes and creeks and waterfalls also. Land is more affordable in Globe Miami area and you can have horse property and ride from your property for miles and miles or go off-roading. Globe average temperatures are only 5 degrees warmer than Payson. Another area is a long stretch between Payson and the Phoenix valley that includes Roosevelt Lake and the Tonto Basin area that is warmer. Or you might want to get away from it all in Young in the Sierra Anche Wilderness with the highest peak in Gila county at 7700 ft.
