Where is the Best place to live in Arizona? That depends on what you like and want. I have seen other websites that name the top cities in the state, namely in the Phoenix valley. But those are not necessarily the perfect places for everyone. And those other sites ignore the entire rest of this beautiful state. There is no 1 place that everyone is going to like or want to live. But Arizona has such a variety that you are sure to find a place where you will enjoy living. I have tried to make it easy for you. The below table compares all of the different counties in Arizona and the amenities they each offer.

For more information about each area, visit each county page and see beautiful pictures and read descriptions of amazing properties for sale as well as suggestions of fun things to do and see. The property descriptions on each county page help you compare costs per square foot of home and cost per acre.

If you prefer a mild temperate climate that is not too hot or too cold, you might like Globe, Oracle, Vail, Payson, Santa Cruz county, Portal, Bisbee, Sierra Vista, Page, Dewey, or Sedona. If you want to live near the mighty Colorado River but don't like extreme heat, visit the Coconino county page to learn about Page or the Mohave county page to see examples of properties in the Kingman area that is close to the Colorado river but not as hot.

If you want to get away from it all and be in the pine trees, you might like Crown King in Yavapai county, the Hualapai mountains near Kingman in Mohave county, or Young in Gila county or Forest Lakes in Coconino county or Snowflake in Navajo county. If you want to get away from it all but you don't like the cold and like views of mountain ranges that go on and on, you might like the Congress/Kirkland area in Yavapai county or Queen Valley or Christmas or Oracle in Pinal county, or Bouse in Lapaz county or Dolan Springs in Mohave county or Solomon in Graham county or Portal in Cochise county, or Gisela in Gila county or Silver Creek in Navajo county.

You can download the below excel spreadsheet (the XLS file) of the below table to save to your computer or print out. I think it's easier to view and compare if you download the spreadsheet. On a computer, in order to see all of the columns in the below table, you have to go to the bottom and scroll to the right.
