And the Cheapest cities and most affordable places to live in Arizona are most likely these areas: Northern Arizona like Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Golden Valley, Winslow, Holbrook, Snowflake, Vernon, Concho. These areas are near some of Arizona's most unique landscapes like the petrified forest, the Colorado River, and the Grand Canyon. Also consider Globe, Superior, Queen Valley, or the Winkelman area just a short drive from the Phoenix valley and close to Roosevelt Lake with some of the best fishing in the state. Arizona landscapes vary from desert to pine trees and from 141ft to over 10,000ft elevation. So whether you want to wear shorts in the winter or enjoy all four seasons, we have it all. In Arizona, there are several places where you can drive for 30 to 60 minutes and arrive in an area with a totally different climate and landscape from the one you just left. There is so much diversity of landscape, weather, and amenities, that we have whatever you are seeking. Each county page goes into detail about weather, elevation, colleges, industry, employment opportunities, retirement communities.

I can also help you with purchasing any property in this state, even if it is for sale by owner or a new housing development or going up for auction or not for sale at all( I contact property owners).  To compare price of homes per area, read descriptions of properties on each county page. Many have sold recently.  My personal suggestion is to purchase an airbnb in northern arizona and one in the Phoenix valley like Glendale or Casa Grande - both can have a main home and guest quarters. You can stay in the main section of the home in northern arizona in the summer and rent out everything else and then in the winter stay in the main section of the home in the Phoenix valley and rent out everything else. Have you always dreamed of being a cowboy or a cowgirl? There are ranches for sale throughout the state. You can go in with friends to purchase one. They usually have more than 1 home. 1 ranch in northern arizona has 2 places - 1 in the colder climate and 1 in a warmer climate. Typically property taxes for an income-producing farm or ranch is way less than taxes on a home of the same value. And I give you examples of what your money can get you in each area. For example, 2 million will get you a home in Scottsdale with a little bit of land or it can get you the same size and style of home plus 350 acres with an orchard in the foothills of mountains in northern Arizona where you might get a light dusting of snow occasionally with usually really nice weather. If you have a trade or work in a medical field, some of the areas of this state have shortages of nurses, painters, surveyors, appraisers, home inspectors, well drillers, septic installers, welders, and other specialists. It is important to use a knowledgeable real estate agent who understands the diversity of Arizona from a build standpoint, especially regarding alternate septics, the depth and cost of wells, proximity of neighboring wells and septic systems, flood plains, availability of property insurance, deed restrictions, water rights, and possible hazards to avoid. As an Arizona native who has owned property in 5 counties while investing in real estate for 36 years, I can inform you about things that might affect the property you are considering. Before purchasing any property in Arizona, read the deed restrictions to make sure you can do what you want with the home/property.
